I want to diet because of me, not because of anyone one else. I am calling this the healthy choice because it is NOT a diet! The best way to succeed is to be determined and love yourself. I am not saying I am fat either but I do want to loose some weight and gain some core muscle.

Also if you are under your recomended BMI PLEASE DO NOT DIET. I am 17 and feel I have enough knowledge of food and health to partake in this.

I absolutely love that, it is really hard to remember at the best of times. I am pretty sure everyone has been in the situation of comparing yourself to a friend and what they have and you don’t; the same applies to weight. Everyone’s body is different, for example I will look at Beyonce and think damn why aren’t my legs/butt as amazing as hers? and then go do 100 squats haha but really it should be appreciating that her body is beautiful in that way where as I have a different body type and it is beautiful in its own way.
That is the problem at looking at inspirational pictures of skinny or fit women because the reality is you never will look like them as you are not them but you can work freaking hard so when someone else looks at you they will ask ‘why don’t I look like them?’. Don’t be too hard on yourself stop comparing yourself to others.
